This album chronicles the adventures of myself and my friend Brian in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone between July 18 and 27, 2003. It also represents a couple of firsts for this web-site. The first first is that most of the images in this album were taken with a new camera. Prior to the trip, I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 2100, which is much smaller and a bit less feature-rich than my Coolpix 990. The 2100 lacks many of the manual overrides of the 990, but in most cases, I haven't yet mastered the art of photography enough to notice much of a difference. The one noticeable difference is that the images on these pages are distilled from 1600x1200 originals rather than 2048x1536 originals. Big whoop. The second first is that this album was generated automatically using a very cool piece of Java software called "JAlbum". Some images and video clips from Brian's snazzy 5-megapixel Sony are included in this album as well. Where used, these image names contain the prefix "BG".
