Day 7 (Friday, 7/25/2003)

After breakfast, we headed up to the north end of the park to do some general exploring. After a stop at the Signal Mountain summit, Brian had the idea of renting a boat or other boat-like device on Jackson Lake, since he'd done that on a previous tour of the Tetons. As luck would have it, the Signal Mountain marina had two one-person kayaks left. We took those out for about 2 hours and explored the lower end of the lake around Donoho Point, then we put ashore and did some low-key hiking around the String Lake/Leigh Lake area.
