After a hearty breakfast at the KOA and a bit of languishing to stir the embers of digestion, the
gang jumped in (and on) Arturo's truck and headed south of town to some rather nasal-looking rock
faces along the side of the highway that were just begging to be climbed. Since I tend to put my
faith more in rocks than ropes, I took the opportunity to scramble my way up to a perch of merely
moderate precariousness and take pictures of the other guys thumbing their noses at Mr. Newton.
Around mid-day, we headed back into town, and I headed straight to bed with a galloping case of Monty's
Revenge. Fortunately, I was only down for
the rest of that day and was able to get back in the saddle the next morning.
